Great Guitar Solos – Until The End Of The World

Saw U2 at the Georgia Dome a few weeks ago. Definitely the best show I’ve seen from them. This was my 4th show. The band sounded great and Bono’s voice was as strong as ever.

This song and solo are one of my all-time favorites from U2. They key is changed from the album version.

I’m not sure if Achtung Baby or Unforgettable Fire is my favorite album.

I agree completely. I’ve been a fan for nearly 30 years, and my favorite U2 albums are also Unforgettable Fire and Achtung Baby. The best songs on Unforgettable Fire are better than on Achtung Baby, but Achtung is more consistent overall. I also think it’s interesting that those were the two albums where they did their most dramatic musical “reboots” and changed their style significantly. As much as anything, their ability to reinvent themselves while maintaining their core sound has been the key to their longevity.
